Now Hiring - Manufacturing Applications Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA

Typical responsibilities will include the following:

• Investigating and qualifying sales leads
• Preparing conceptual designs & cost estimates
• Preparation of technically sound and commercially attractive proposals
• Conducting sales presentations for customers when required
• Assisting outside Sales Representatives as needed
• Negotiating and closing orders
• Some level of travel as needed

The ideal candidate for this challenging position shall possess the following qualifications and skill sets:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineer preferred)
• Minimum 0-5 years applications and selling experience
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Comfortable with daily interaction with customers, outside sales representatives, equipment vendors and our engineering team.
• Experience in technical sales of industrial equipment (preferably pollution control and/or combustion related)
• Ability to complete Energy & Mass Balance calculations is a plus
• ASPEN PLUS (or similar) modeling software is preferred but not necessary
• A strong desire to sell technical solutions to our customers.
